What is line dancing, you ask? It is a form of dance that requires no partner and is done in a group. While it originated in country bars, it has evolved to encompass a variety of music genres.
Men, women, couples, and singles are welcome!
This class is for you if you want to learn some basic line dances, increase your repertoire of dances, or just have fun moving to the music. Kenmure residents Leslie Robins, Bonnie Mangold, and Nancy Benyon (experienced line dancers, but not professionals) will lead this group in learning the dance steps to a variety of music (country, pop, rock and oldies). Our teaching style involves slow, methodical, step-by-step instruction with lots of repetition.
Please dress comfortably and wear comfortable shoes! Hard-soled shoes are recommended, but not required; sneakers are okay, but no flip-flops.
Following the dance session (10:00AM -12:00PM), we will have lunch in the Charleston Room. The only cost to you for this activity is the cost of your lunch which is $14.00++ per person.
If you participate in this activity, it is expected that you will stay for lunch.

Cancellation Policy: Per Kenmure Country Club, if cancellation is not made at least 48 hours prior to the event, you will be charged for the lunch. If you need to cancel, please contact Nancy Benyon. Nancy's contact information is 561-371-5681 or snmma@aol.com.
Payment: KCC member accounts will be charged for each person attending.
Non-KCC Members: Please contact KCC 72 hours prior to the event with your Visa or Mastercard credit card. Please contact Sarah Murphy at 828-697-9999.
Dietary Needs: Please call KCC directly with any special dietary requests.
The number of participants will be limited, and a waitlist may be utilized. Participation will be on a first come first serve basis.

Completion of the registration form is not a confirmation that you will be able to participate.
After you have filled in your registration form, please "click to confirm". Confirmation emails will be sent shortly after your registration is accepted. If there is a waitlist, we encourage you to register anyway in case of cancellations.
We will send out a Line Dance reminder about a week prior to the event.
The session will start promptly at 10:00 AM. Please arrive early to check-in, get your name tag and find a spot for your belongings.
