Ladies' Lunch Bunch provides opportunities for new friendships while enjoying lunch at a local restaurant once a month.

• Please note the following change:  Ladies’ Lunch Bunch is now a group of 4.

• The hostess selects the restaurant, makes reservations, and either emails or calls the members in her group to notify them of the plans.

Meet and Eat  is a hosted activity that takes place entirely at the KCC Grill. This gives members the chance to meet for a drink, have dinner and socialize in a casual setting without hosting at their home.

Changes to Meet & Eat:

• When arriving at the Grill, each group will go directly to their reserved table.  Please wear a mask until seated and observe all KCC guidelines. Groups will not be able to meet in the bar for pre-dinner drinks.
• Group size is  6 people or 3 couples.
• During the 4-month rotation, one of the 3 couples will not act as the host couple when scheduling the date and making the Grill reservation.
• With 3 couples in a 4-month rotation, one month during that time will be unscheduled.
• First year members of KNN who have not yet joined KCC as well as all "Grandfathered" members are eligible to participate. These members will be required to pay KCC for their dinner with a credit card on the night of the scheduled dinner.

Mens Breakfast-Lunch Group provides opportunities for new friendships while enjoying breakfast or lunch at a local restaurant.

• Please note the following change:  Men’s Breakfast/Lunch is now a group of 4.
• Members meet once a month for breakfast or lunch at a restaurant selected by the host.
• It is anticipated that all the problems of the world will be solved at least once a month as a result of these get-togethers.    

   
Cocktails and Conversation is a new activity. It’s similar to Happy Hour Wine Tasting, but for those who love cocktails. This activity takes place outside the hosts’ home. The host provides the spirits and mixers. Heavy appetizers will be supplied by both host and guests. Please note the following:

• Group size is 6 people or 3 couples.
• All at home entertaining will occur outside the home on your driveway, deck, or porch.
• A group size of 6 should allow for social distancing. If you are unable to entertain outdoors or provide social distancing, please do not register for this activity.
• During the 2-month rotation of April and May, be aware that only 2 of the 3 couples will be assigned as host couple. The unassigned couple could offer to help a host with an additional appetizer or beverage.

• You do not need to be a mixologist to enjoy this activity, but if you like trying new drinks or sharing your favorite spirit this might be for you! The host would be expected to have a basic bar with the essential spirits (vodka, gin, bourbon, etc.), fizzy mixers and garnishes. The host should plan on serving a couple of drinks per guest.

Ideas for Cocktails:  The host might choose to offer a basic cocktail like a vodka or gin and tonic. Or perhaps, the host wants to serve a specialty cocktail. There are drinks for every state and many countries. Choose a drink from your home state or favorite vacation. Or pick a seasonal cocktail:  spring and summer call for something refreshing while cold months call for a cozy cocktail. Or consider a theme:  Mad Men Martinis, Derby Day Mint Juleps or Cinco de Mayo Margaritas.

Dining at the Grill allows members a chance to socialize outside at the hosts’ home. The host provides light appetizers and beverages before going to the Grill for dinner.

• Happy Hour Wine Tasting is a casual wine group that gives members the chance to socialize outside the hosts’ home while enjoying the pleasures of wine tasting. The host provides the wine. Heavy appetizers will be supplied by both host and guests. 

Changes to Happy Hour Wine Tasting:

• All at home entertaining will occur outside the home on your driveway, deck, or porch.
• Group size is  6 people or 3 couples.
• A group size of 6 should allow for social distancing. If you are unable to entertain outdoors or provide social distancing, please do not register for this activity.
• During the 2-month rotation of April and May, be aware that only 2 of the 3 couples will be assigned as host couple. The unassigned couple could offer to help a host with an additional appetizer or beverage.

Hiking provides an opportunity to meet neighbors and explore the varied hiking sites in our area.

• This group meets once a month.
• Hikes usually last 3-4 hours and will be either Easy or Moderate in difficulty.
• Dates for hikes are chosen by the hiking leader.
• Please note that at this time, groups maybe smaller than in the past and carpooling is not permitted.
