Mission

• To introduce newcomers of Kenmure and Berwick Downs to their community, to meet new and existing members and to encourage participation in organization activities.

Membership Requirements

Kenmure & Berwick Downs: All residents (including renters) and/or property owners of Kenmure and Berwick Downs are eligible to join KNN for an entire year with no obligation to join the Kenmure Country Club.

New members may enjoy our activities and take advantage of the many opportunities to meet and get together with neighbors in this delightful, friendly community for one year before making a decision about joining the Kenmure Country Club.

After one year, Kenmure Country Club membership is required to remain in Kenmure Newcomers & Neighbors. Any level of membership (Social, Sports, Golf, etc.) qualifies.

Once residents have joined Kenmure Country Club, they may remain in KNN indefinitely, as long as they also remain members of the Club.

Dues

Note: “Year” in the context of dues refers to the KNN membership year, which runs from February 1 through the following January 31.* 

• KNN dues are $65 per membership year per household**, payable by November 15 of each membership year. Please pay by check, unable to accept cash. (That date is set to allow time to prepare the February-May rotation schedules for KNN activities, such as cocktails and conversation and dining at the grill, that have set numbers of participants.) 
• Households** joining KNN on or after September 1, through October 31st, owe $87 dues to cover participation in non-rotation activities such as Arts and Adventures, Hiking,  and parties for the remainder of the current membership year (or to serve as substitutes in ongoing rotation activities, if they have missed the rotation signup) and membership for the next year. Note that these households** will not need to pay the standard $65 dues for the coming membership year that starts February 1.

• PLEASE NOTE:  If you do not join the Kenmure Country Club within 12 months of the date of your joining KNN, your KNN membership will be deactivated. This is a KNN Bylaws provision.
• No Refund Policy: If for any reason you are no longer willing or able to participate in KNN you may cancel your membership  at any time however KNN does not refund the yearly dues. Effective 11-11-2020

Please note: Fiscal year begins February 1st. Dues are payable by November 15th so we can get members registered for the Feb - May rotation.

*  This is the same as the KNN fiscal year

** Household is defined as any two adults living at the same address.
